There are still loopholes in the supervision of online shopping for epidemic prevention and control drugs, and fever and cough medicines can be bought online at will.

According to the relevant regulations on epidemic prevention and control, the city currently implements a real-name registration system for the purchase of four types of epidemic prevention and control drugs for treating cough, fever, dry throat and sore throat and anti-infection, and clarifies the reporting channels, and all online and offline channels must be observed. However, the reporter recently found that compared with offline physical pharmacies, the registration process related to online drug purchase is not strict, and some platforms can even "buy the order".

A few days ago, the reporter used the "Dangdang Express Medicine" mobile phone APP to enter "Lianhua Qingwen Capsule", click "Add List" to submit the medicine to the platform and then go to the "Information Confirmation" interface. Without any real name registration, the reporter successfully completed the payment and purchased the medicine. The whole operation process took less than 2 minutes. In less than half an hour, the medicine purchased by the reporter was delivered by the courier brother. When the reporter asked "whether real-name registration is needed", the courier brother said that this matter needs to be communicated and consulted with the platform, and he is not clear. The drug instructions show that Lianhua Qingwen capsule is used to treat influenza, and the indications are fever or high fever, aversion to cold, cough, stuffy nose and runny nose. In a roadside pharmacy in Hujialou North Street, Chaoyang District, the reporter tried to buy the medicine. The staff made it clear that Lianhua Qingwen Capsule belongs to the cold medicine for treating fever and cough, and offline purchase requires real-name registration.

Yesterday morning, the reporter opened the JD.COM APP on the mobile phone, searched for "cold medicine", randomly selected "West Gate Store of Baikang Pharmacy Chaoyang Hospital", and added two medicines, "999 Ganmaoling Granule" and "Crack" to the shopping basket. Subsequently, the platform popped up the "Prompt for Registration of Epidemic Prevention and Control Drugs" to remind that the purchased drugs contain epidemic prevention and control products, and it is necessary to register the information of users before placing an order. After entering the name, ID number, permanent address, body temperature and other information, the APP jumps to the payment interface and displays that the order was submitted successfully.

However, compared with physical pharmacies that strictly check personal identity information and conduct detailed inquiries, there is no review process for the information filled in when purchasing drugs online, and the drug purchaser can fill it out by himself. The reporter called the Ximen Store of Baikang Pharmacy Chaoyang Hospital to inquire. The staff said that the personal information submitted when online shopping drugs would be automatically uploaded to the relevant information system by the platform, without going through the pharmacy. The staff member said that a telephone review would be conducted according to the situation of the drug purchaser. But this is not the case. The reporter purchased the relevant drugs through the JD.COM platform, and did not receive any call for review information until he received the drugs.

Experts remind that every citizen should be the first responsible person for his own health. When purchasing four kinds of epidemic prevention and control drugs, he should actively abide by the real-name registration system and ensure that the information is true and reliable. As offline pharmacies and online drug purchasing platforms that should give full play to the role of "frontier sentinel", they should strictly implement relevant regulations and perform their duties of epidemic prevention and control.
