This year’s No.14 typhoon "Little Dog" was upgraded from typhoon level to strong typhoon level this morning (2nd). At 8 o’clock in the morning, its center is located on the northwest Pacific Ocean about 740 kilometers south-east of Taiwan Province, China, which is 19.2 degrees north latitude and 127.3 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is 14 (42m/s), and the lowest pressure at the center is 955 hectopascals.
It is estimated that "Little Dog" will move to the northwest at a speed of 10-15km/h, and gradually approach to the east of Taiwan Province, and its intensity will gradually increase, with the strongest typhoon level (16-17, 52-58m/s). It will land on the southeast coast of Taiwan Province from the morning of 5th to the morning, then move to the west after landing, and enter the northeast of the South China Sea, and its intensity will gradually weaken.
Gale forecast: From 14: 00 on the 2nd to 14: 00 on the 3rd, there will be 6-8 winds in the south of the East China Sea, east of Taiwan Province, bashi channel, Taiwan Province Strait, northeastern South China Sea, Fujian coast and Taiwan Province island coast, 9-12 winds in the offshore of the northeastern Philippines, 13-15 winds in the nearby sea where the typhoon center passes, and 16-17 gusts.
